In all four cases, Marlin monitors the temperature reported by the thermistors and compares it to the commanded temperatures, for both the hotend and the heated bed. Marlin “heating failed” errors usually relate to issues with a thermistor or a bad thermistor, code issues, or printer setup. After the update, my prints are full of stringing, so I decided to lower the temperature until 180 °C and now it's fine (everything above 185 °C is stringing).
